The Margate Car Boot Sale started 5 years ago, 5 traders, pouring rain, 1 gazebo amongst us 5, at Hibiscus mall because we recognized the need for households to have somewhere safe and well organized, to get rid of their surplus stuff. From this very first market we have created a lovely traders and shoppers family and have traded at various venues in and around Margate.

This serves the most important purpose of recycling, reusing, repurposing, and reducing waste. We added Crafters to our vendors as we saw they need a place as well to sell their beautiful crafts.

The Market  moved to its permanent venue at Lions Club Ramsgate Glenmarkie Drive in February 2021, where we trade  every Saturday from 8am to 1pm.

 UPCOMING SPECIAL MARKET DAYS 

Holiday season Market at Munster Classic car museum on Thursday 16th December from 9am to 2pm

Festive Market 2021 will be on Tuesday 21st December from 3pm to 8pm , where we support our local crafters and Food Traders

2 Christmas markets that will be held at Lions Club Glenmarkie Drive Ramsgate on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd December from 3pm to 8pm . Father Christmas will be at both these markets handing out sweets, taking photos and giving Christmas presents to the children from our chosen charity for this year, Hope House

We also host Easter Market, Heritage Day Markets and Festive markets at Hibiscus mall.
