Visitors to Ramsgate are in for a treat. South African music icon, Steve Fataar will be performing at Burlesque Cafe for one night only on Saturday 30th May at 7pm.
Steve is well known for his laid back music style and engaging manner that captures the audience’s attention and keeps it for the duration of his time on stage. He tells beautifully poignant stories in song with his skillful guitar playing and smooth voice. His artistry on stage leaves no doubt as to why this talented musician has had such an illustrious and lasting career in music.
Best known for his accomplishments with his South African music group, “The Flames,” Steve has toured Europe, America and Australia with the likes of the Beach Boys and the Rolling Stones. Having a few of his songs in the top 10 charts in a number of American states and playing two concerts at the Royal Albert Hall (one in the presence of Her Majesty, Princess Margaret) are just a few of the highlights of his career.
Steve left Hollywood to return to KZN to share music experiences with his “homies” and he continues, at age 72, to keep audiences coming back for more.
