If you are a fan of artisan food, craft beer, seafood and fine wine then this event was tailor-made for you
The first ever Hook, Vine and Craft Beer Festival will be taking place from 10am Friday 3rd July until 4pm Sunday 5th July at Margate Beachfront. This event looks set to become a highlight on the market calendar, with wine farms, breweries and seafood vendors from around the country invited to display their wares.
Entrance to the festival is R35 in the form of a “tasting ticket” which will enable you to sample the delicious wines and beers on offer. Fresh seafood will be available to purchase, whilst experts will be on hand to teach you the art of food and wine pairing.
There will be live music acts playing throughout the three day festival including a talented Jazz Quartet, a Swing Quartet and an Electric Violinist. A Jazz and Swing DJ will keep the entertainment going between sets. As an added bonus, The Kickstands will be playing live on Sunday afternoon. These two musicians are not to be missed.
For a festival that ticks all the boxes, be sure to mark this one in your calendar.
A preliminary itinerary for the festival is available on the Wozani Africa website.
