World Wide Knit in Public Day

World Wide Knit in Public Day

The Ramsgate Knit-Twits are celebrating World Wide Knit in Public day on 13th June.

You will find them knitting and crocheting in public from 10:30am until 4pm at the entrance to the Ramsgate Whale Deck and Enviro Centre. These talented folk will be “Beanie Bombing” and hope to have over 200 hand-crocheted and knitted beanies on display and for sale, with all proceeds going to charity.

The Burlesque Café will have their delicious vegetable and beef burgers for sale, so bring your crochet or knitting needles, a comfy chair and join in the fun. If you are not keen to join in the actual knitting, that is okay too. Just pop on down to see these crafters at work, enjoy something delicious to eat and maybe purchase a new beanie or two.

How to get there...

The entrance to the Whale Deck can be found in the Ramsgate's main street, just opposite the Crayfish Inn

What will it cost...

Entrance is free, burgers and beanies will be for sale
