Skhumba Crafts

S’khumba Crafts is an independent workshop and craft shop that produces heirloom quality hand-crafted leather boots, sandals and other timeless items. While the true beginnings were already some years in the making, S’khumba Crafts has been operating on the lower South Coast since 1995. Situated on the edge of Ramsgate, they focus on durability, sustainability and practicality. Using only locally sourced full-grain cow hide, all items are stitched entirely by hand. The high quality leather used in the creation of their boots and sandals moulds naturally to the shape of the foot, making each pair truly unique to their owner. Leather bags are set with semi-precious stones and only the highest quality solid brass fittings are used. Bridle-leather belts are fitted with solid brass buckles and are designed to be bought once in a lifetime. All products are available for viewing and fitting in their beautifully designed showroom which has to be seen to be believed.
